Book Your Assessment or Therapy Session
Choose from our autism services: Adult Autism Assessment, Child Autism Assessment, Occupational Therapy, or Speech & Language Therapy. All delivered by registered professionals.
Attend Your Session
Complete your appointment. Adult assessments are delivered online. Child assessments use a hybrid model (online + in-person at our Rathfarnham clinic). OT and SLT sessions are scheduled based on your child's needs.
Get Your Receipt
After each session, you'll receive a detailed receipt from AutismCare. Our receipts are designed to include everything VHI needs: client name, date, clinician details, registration body, service description, and amount paid.

Log into MyVhi or the VHI App and submit your claim. The process is straightforward:

Psychological Society of Ireland
All AutismCare Clinical Psychologists are PSI-registered. Recognised by VHI for psychology and autism assessment claims.
CORU — Occupational Therapists
All AutismCare OTs are registered with CORU, Ireland's multi-profession health regulator. Required for VHI OT claims.
CORU — Speech & Language Therapists
All AutismCare SLTs are CORU-registered. VHI recognises CORU registration for speech & language therapy claims.

Yes — many VHI members successfully claim for telehealth and online consultations. AutismCare's Adult Autism Assessments are delivered fully online by PSI-registered Clinical Psychologists. The key requirements are that the clinician meets VHI's provider criteria and that your receipt includes all required details. Submit through MyVhi just as you would for an in-person visit.
No. A GP referral is not required to claim for psychology, OT, or speech & language therapy sessions with VHI. You can book directly with AutismCare and submit your receipt for reimbursement.
Yes. AutismCare autism assessments are conducted across multiple sessions. You receive a separate receipt for each session, and you can submit each one individually to VHI. This is often the best approach, as VHI plans specify a benefit per visit — so each session is a separate claimable event. We recommend submitting after each session to keep things simple.
Many VHI plans include occupational therapy and speech & language therapy as part of day-to-day benefits for both children and adults. AutismCare's OT (€89/session) and SLT (€89/session) services are delivered by CORU-registered practitioners, meeting VHI's provider requirements.
